CPAP replacement supplies: identifying the exact part

Match CPAP mask, headgear, tubing and filter references to your prescribed setup before requesting replacement supplies.

Record the machine and mask separately

A CPAP machine model and a mask model are separate references. Keep both available when discussing replacement supplies. Include the size printed on the relevant component where available; a size used for one mask family does not identify another family.

The Medrax respiratory category includes mask and headgear listings, tubing, a filter and other respiratory supplies. It is not a preassembled CPAP system. Nebulizer products in the same broader category serve a different equipment request.

Distinguish a full mask from individual parts

A mask package, cushion, frame and headgear can have separate manufacturer references. Confirm which components are included with the exact listing. A photo showing loose components or a fully assembled mask does not replace a written contents check.

If a supplier reference conflicts with manufacturer information, ask Medrax to confirm the model before requesting it. A high-resolution or AI-enhanced image cannot resolve an item-number conflict.

Check tubing and filter compatibility

Use the exact equipment reference when checking tubing, filter format and connection requirements. The catalog’s six-foot tubing description identifies a length; it does not by itself establish suitability for every machine.

Similarly, a disposable filter listed for IntelliPAP should be matched to the intended machine and filter reference. Do not choose a filter solely by the shape shown in a picture.

Confirm the replacement request

Manufacturer care instructions and insurer replacement rules can differ. Discuss your actual supply needs and applicable benefits with Medrax. For fit, treatment settings or equipment-use questions, follow the guidance of your care team and the manufacturer.
