Breast pump kits and replacement flanges

Check pump-model names, kit contents and flange references when requesting a breast pump or replacement accessory.

Keep the complete pump model name

A brand can offer several pump families with different accessory systems. Keep all parts of the model name when requesting supplies. Ameda Mya, Mya Joy and Mya Joy PLUS should not be shortened to the same reference.

Ameda’s manufacturer information distinguishes the original Mya accessory system from the Mya Joy family. Check the compatibility statement for the particular replacement part instead of treating the brand name as proof of fit.

Confirm what comes in the pump package

A pump photograph may show selected components or a family configuration. Ask for the written package contents for the exact item being supplied, including power components, collection pieces and any included carrying or pumping accessories.

Separate a first pump request from a request for replacement parts. An accessory listing does not include a complete pump, and a photo of a complete kit does not establish that each visible part is supplied separately.

Match the flange reference and required size

Keep the flange’s manufacturer reference and millimeter size together. The original-Mya listing in this catalog is the 21 mm pair, reference 102X21. Its current family-reference photograph depicts the 24 mm version, and the caption identifies that difference. The image cannot establish the size of the ordered part.

Ask your lactation professional or other care provider about fit, and use current manufacturer instructions. Do not modify an accessory or infer compatibility from a similar-looking connector.

Discuss availability and plan requirements

Some catalog records concern older pump models. Check any manufacturer notice on the product page and confirm current availability. Your plan may have product, timing or supplier requirements; Medrax can discuss the specific request and expected costs.
